Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy

Updated on September 17, 2014

After the Blue Pixie Dust!

The Pirate Fairy soon as it debuts on Blu-ray on April 1, 2014. The movie tells the tale of Zarina , a fairy, who has returned to Pixie Hollow only to steal blue pixie dust. Without the blue pixie dust the fairies will be unable to fly. Tinker Bell and her friends set out to return the pixie dust back to Pixie Hollow. During the course of this adventure their powers are switched. Rosetta ends up becoming an animal fairy, Silvermist changes into a fast flying fairy, Iridessa takes on the role of a water fairy, Fawn is challenged with becoming a light fairy and Vidia receives Tinkerbell's talent as a Tinker.

In the Pirate Fairy we are introduced to a young handsome Captain Hook and begin to see his villainy unfold. I wonder if we will get to see Peter Pan in the next Disney Fairies film.

Trailer for the Pirate Fairy.

These clips come from the official trailer for the Pirate Fairy. You have to love Silvermist's optimism: "Maybe their good pirates."

Why I Want to See This Movie

  1. Pirates. Who doesn't like these bad boys? I wonder if the Pirates will introduce us to a young Captain Hook? Wishful thinking on my part.
  2. The Disney Fairies switch talents. I really want to see Vidia as a Tinker and Rosetta as an animal fairy.
  3. For the glimpse of the legendary Skull Rock. Perhaps we are closer to Tinker Bell story with Peter Pan.
  4. I want to learn more about Serena. Unlike Rosetta I like the pirate fairy's hair.
  5. I want to know why Serena is stealing Pixie Dust from Pixie Hollow. Has this fairy gone over to the dark side or does she have valid reasons for doing what she is doing. Is she being tricked somehow?

The Great Pirate Fairy Speculation

So you have heard what I have heard my thoughts on the upcoming Tinker Bell movie now I would like to hear what you think is going to happen. Do I have a leg to stand on or am I heading down on a sinking ship?

You've got the new movie figured out or you're barking up the wrong pixie tree?

Tinker Bell Movies & Television Special

The following are the movies and the television special in the Disney Fairies franchise. My favorite of these is the Great Fairy Rescue where we get to see some real human/fairy interaction.

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure
In the 2009 animated Tinker Bell movie Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Tinker Bell sets off on adventure to repair a magical scepter.

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue
In the third Disney Fairies movie entitled Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Tinker Bell becomes friends with a human girl named Lizzie.

Secret of the Wings / Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods
In 2012 Tinker Bell discovered her sister in the Disney Fairies film Secret if the Wings formerly named Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods

Where would you like to see Tinker Bell and her friends go on their quest for the queen? Any secret hopes for the next Tinker Bell movie?
